Fire wood:

One bucket of fire wood is included in the price during the winter season. It is also possible to order more fire wood at the farm (NOK 200 per for 60 litres of fire wood, that we will place right outside your door).

End cleaning:

In this self-catering unit, you will find all the necessary cleaning tools by the entrance door. There is a description on the wall in the cabin. A general rule is to leave the cabin as you found it :-)

Treskelåven is a 60 m2 cabin.

Bedroom: 

There is one bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed, including a loft with a low ceiling and two floor mattrasses, that are in the same room.

Living room:

The living room has a lot of spaciousness under the roof, a dining table, a sofa with coffee table, fire place and a large flatscreen/smart-TV.

In the living room there is extra beds for 4 persons. The living room is in the room next to the bed room, and there is a door that can be closed between these two rooms.

Kitchen: 

The kitchen is cozy and functional, and has all the different equipment you should need.

Bathroom: 

The bathroom has a shower / toilet / sink.

Meals: 

This is a self-catering unit. It is possible to buy dinner at Rødberg hotell 4 kilometers from the farm. In the small town of Rødberg, there is a large grocery store, and a wide selection of stores. During the summer season we serve breakfast and dinner during the weekends.

The difference between the 2nd floor and 1st floor, is that the 2nd floor feels more spacious and has a dining table - the 1st floor has more privacy because there is three different rooms with one bathroom each.

We usually recommend this for 2-6 persons that knows each other well (the 1st floor cabin has three rooms with one bathroom each and will provide more privacy).

The 1st floor cabin “Underlåven” is a 60 m2 cabin.

The farm is located at 380 masl, only a 30 minutes drive up to the mountain area (950 masl).

Sevletunet Guestfarm B&B is located right in the middle of five different mountain areas with large and varied cross-country skiing trails.

The following mountain areas are equally beautiful and with plenty of cross-country skiing slopes:

• Imingfjell

• Dagalifjell

• Sloko

• Hallandsfjell

• Tunhovd

For nighttime skiing there is a lovely cross-country skiing trail with street lights, making it possible to comfortably ski also during the dark winter evenings.

• The small town Uvdal - in the upper part of the valley (towards Geilo):

In both Uvdal alpine ski resort and Dagali mountain area, there is plenty of people during these common holidays. In Dagali there are beautiful cross-country skiing areas, that we warmly recommend. It is possible to buy meals at Vasstulan 1100 and Torsetlia.

• The small town Veggli - in the middle of the valley (towards Kongsberg):

Sevletunet is a 30 minutes drive from the small town Veggli. Up at the Vegglifjell mountain area it is possible to buy food at a mountain restaurant. In the town center there is a road café that sells food as well. There is a cool second hand shop at the Veggli “shopping mall” and a cozy glass and ceramics shop n kafé på kjøpesenteret.

DAGALI OG IMINGFJELL:

Fra gården tar det 30 min å kjøre til både Dagalifjell og Imingfjell. Store, flotte løypenett. Servering på Vasstulan 1100 og Torsetlia.

RØDBERG:

I Rødberg sentrum er det mange fine butikker, Rødberg hotell har middagsservering, Risan konditori serverer også mat, samt påsmurte rundstykker og kaker.

TUNHOVD:

Tunhovd har flotte løyper og er 30 minutter fra gården. I Tunhovd ligger også Langedrag Naturpark som er en flott opplevelse sommerstid som vinterstid. De har også matservering. 

HAGLEBU / SIGDAL:

Det er heller ikke langt å kjøre til Sigdal og Haglebu. På Haglebu er det en veldig koselig fjellkafé som pleier å samle mange folk og ligger rett ved skisenteret. Flotte oppkjørte skiløyper finnes der også. Oppe på fjellet før man kjører ned til Haglebu, er det også flotte oppkjørte skiløyper.

A stay at Sevletunet Guestfarm during the winter season, is recommended for you if you would like a “city escape” or “winter getaway”, but simultaneously do not want to stay at a cabin in the middle of a crowded cottage field area.

In the two cabins (1st and 2nd floor) it is suitable for two families, that would like to have their own cabin, but at the same time being close to each other. There is room for 6 persons in the 2nd floor and 6 persons in the 1st floor.

If you are looking for at place with loads of people and much conventional entertainment, this is not the place. We recommend you to come back during the summer months in stead. Book your summer stay here.
