This is a two floors cabin with rustic and personal interior. A peaceful and tranquil place on earth, immersed in nature on every side and not a neighbour in sight.
The abundance of windows from floor to ceiling creates a natural light. It still gives the good old fashioned “hytte” and “hygge” vibes, because of its snug, cozy and warm interior.
Two living rooms with seating areas for everyone. The cabin has an under floor heating system, and three fire places for the coziness of it. Six bedrooms are divided on the two floors.
Sloko is an area with a particularly rich amount of snow, and is amongst this regions most snowy areas. The cross-country skiing terrain usually lasts untill March-April. The snow shuffle team will clear the road all the way up to the cabin and there are parking space for 5-6 cars right outside the cabin.
At Sloko Lodge we can almost guarantee that you will immediately relax.
In the large nearby lake “Slokuvatnet” you can get trout and char. There is plenty of fishing possibities around the cabin, in at least seven different fishing lakes. In Slokuvatnet it is also possible to fish during the winter season.
The terass surrounds 3/4 of the cabin and is the perfect place to roll out your yoga mat. Outdoor furniture and a beautiful view towards Slokuvatnet.
There is cross-country skiing trails both in the surrounding woods and on the top of the mountains. The team that are prepping the trails are dutifully invested in the task of creating wonderful trails throughout the season. The cross-country skiing trail network, is vast and varied, and starts right outside the cabin.
The price varies with the popular holiday season, the length of the stay and number of persons.
